Don't Ask Don't Tell| Susan Collens| Repeal!!

Recently don't ask don't tells repeal was stalled in the United States Senate, By non other then Susan Collins. This Maine Senator has a pretty reasonable record when it comes to gay rights. She voted to support the appropriations bill that would have ended this discriminatory ban on gays in the military. However when it came to the floor for a vote she backed down. I called her office moments after her vote! I wanted to let her know how disappointed I was in her actions.

We have an extremely limited moment of opportunity to get this repeal passed. We need to act now during this 'lame duck' session. The Human Rights Campaign is pushing right now to get the repeal on the senate floor again. Call Susan Collens, and The big O and tell them this time they need to put partisan politics aside and support fairness and equality in our armed services!
